After a snowy winter, it looks like spring is finally here. The hope of outdoor car events will become reality before we know it.

We are working through many applications, gearing up for a great event in September!

This month, as promised, we have a special guest. Each month I hope to highlight people that have formed our remarkable judging team. Phil Tegtmeier is the original chief judge at the Radnor Hunt Concours. He formed the original set of judges, and set the standard for years to come. His experience judging nationally with the Ferrari Club of America made him an expert at assembling, managing and producing the exceptional results we have enjoyed. Here is Phil with his thoughts on the Radnor Hunt experience.

I judged my first concours in 1970, my first Ferrari Club Concours in 1981, and of course my first Concours at Radnor Hunt in 1997 at our inaugural event.

Radnor is special, not just to me but to the 100’s of entrants who have graced our show field with some of the rarest, most beautiful and elegant automobiles in the world, Radnor is special because it is big enough to draw cars from all over the world, and it is special because it is small enough that no entry, not from the smallest of pedal cars to the podium placed cars is ever given less attention …. every entrant, every car or motorcycle is reviewed, judged by a hugely competent group of judges all of whom are devoted to the integrity of a secure judging process and to being confident that once again, we have “gotten it right”

We pride ourselves in running the best show that we can, which we have done for 23 years.

We look forward to seeing you all on September 10th, 11th and 12th for our 24th annual, Concours d’Elegance at Radnor Hunt.
