The Motorcycle Committee of the Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance selected the featured classes for 2017 as Century Cycles (1897-1917), Post-War Sporting European Motorcycles (1945-1990), Inter-War Elegance (1917-1939) and Victorian Bicycles and High Wheelers.
The feature class winners in 2017 included the Century Cycles class win going to the 1896 Spiral of Steve Geiger. Inter-War Elegance Under 500cc class win went to the 1921 Victoria KR1 of Christopher Aker. The Inter-War Elegance 500 cc and Over First Place was awarded to the 1929 BMW R57 of Bob Henig.
The Post-War Sporting 500cc and Under win went to the 1952 Ariel VHA of Kerry Grubb. The Over 500cc Post-War Sporting award, People’s Choice Award and Best of Show went to the 1971 Munch 4 1200 TTS of Klaus Heunecke.
The Spirit of Radnor Award was taken by Bob Henig for his pair of 1929 BMW R57s; one restored and the other completely original.
